The Walter & Elise Haas Fund has provided the GTU a grant to support the CIS and CJS in their joint Madrasa-Midrasha programming for this year. We are pleased to announce the student research grant recipients: Mahjabeen Dhala (CIS), “Exploring the Role of Female Activism in Islamic and Jewish Tradition,” Ahmad Ibrahim Moss (CIS) “Imagining an Islamic Liberation Theology in a Post-Truth World,” and group grant recipients Bat Sheva Miller (CJS), Mahjabeen Dhala (CIS) and Jonathan Homrighausen (JST/SCU/GTU), “Abrahamic Hevruta: Developing Pedagogies of Interfaith Education.” Congratulations!
